Rite Aid

After much hesitation (especially from reading so many horror stories!) I finally made a trip to my local Rite Aid. Well, local isn't quite the term here- if I get on the freeway, it's not local to me :) Okay- let me re-phrase: I made a trip to the nearest Rite Aid (which happens to be smack dab in the middle of Laguna Woods- a retirement community... need I say more??) Long story short, I made 2 separate trips- the first (yesterday) didn't go as planned- let's just say I checked out with an employee who didn't quite speak/understand english and did not know the coupon policy, and a rude manager who tried to help! So 2 separate (frustrating) transactions yesterday, and 2 more separate (smooth) transactions today (I actually printed out Rite-Aids coupon policy before I went today! I know I'm nuts! But at least I had back-up this time.) Here is the breakdown:

Grand Total 30.83! The 4 packs of diapers I got would have cost me well over 40.00 without coupons!

What I learned :) 
Rite Aid is great- next time I won't be buying so much at once per transaction- keep it more like the first 2 I made (I really went for the SCR's this time!) which will maximize those 5.00/25.00 Rite Aid savings coupons. *Be sure to go to Rite-Aid and sign up, and watch the videos to get more coupons! I used 2 different e-mail addresses to get double the savings :)
